Broker's Comments

Boatshed Dartmouth are delighted to offer for sale a Moody 31. Of important note are the recent upgrades to this yacht including standing rigging and a new Volvo engine in 2011. In the last few months this yacht has been in the workshop and had a lot of work carried out including replacing the hull to deck joint fittings, new windows, chain plate resealed and much more. We have copies of invoices going back over ten years. She is a very capable yacht having crossed the Atlantic both ways with her current owner.

Designed by Bill Dixon, the Mk I Moody 31 was built from late 1983 to the end of 1985, at which time it was superseded by the Mk II, which was virtually identical except for the addition of a sugar scoop stern. Production continued until 1991.
