Commentaires du Broker
Restored east coast Fishing Smacks seem to be in revival and can be seen looking almost majestic at classic regattas. These low freeboard working boats exude the traditional design and build of the hard working vessel of yesteryear.
This example built back in Kings Lynn by the Norfolk Bros in 1902 was rescued by the current owner in 1998.
Completely rebuilt from the keel up and relaunched in 2005, this work was carried out by the current owner who is a professional shipwright.
Now due to other commitments & a change in circumstances, the owner has decided to sell the vessel. She is ashore in a working boat yard in the Plymouth area and is ready for another kind soul, with a love of wooden boats, to take her on and bring her back to her former glory.
Registered on the historic ships register.
