Broker's Comments

This 1987 Sadler 26 is a very nice example of this popular Cruiser.

The current owner has looked after her well and has continued to replace and upgrade components as required.

This includes:

New Jeckells Ocean Premium Plus sails in 2013.
New Standard Rigging in 2014.
The 2001 Volvo Engine was workshop overhauled in 2010 complete with new mounts and starter motor and each year has been serviced and winterised by a Local Marine Engineer.
New 2 Blade prop in 2013.
New Batteries in 2013.
New Spirit Stove in 2017.
New Toilet in 2009.
New Masthead tricolour, deck and steaming lights all with LED bulbs in 2018
New wichard backstay tensioner.

Plus much more.

The Sadler 26 followed on from the successful Sadler 25. GRP constructed with a one piece moulding to form the interior and a GRP hull with the space between the two filled with a closed-cell polyurethane form.

This has created a rigid structure with a high level of thermal insulation. Added to that, they are filled with enough foam to keep her afloat in the event of being holed. Tests by the yachting media subsequently proved that not only was the yacht unsinkable but could also be sailed when flooded.
.
The interior design has been well thought out and offers more space than her external appearance might suggest.

This should definitely be on your shortlist if you are looking for a boat of this size with bilge keels.
