Comentario del broker
The Waterwitch was designed as a larger version of the well known and regarded Eventide and this particular version is featured on You Tube Channel “My Classic Boat”. The Waterwitch features a shallow draft, having a long iron ballast keel, that allows the boat to 'take the ground' comfortably. A version was sailed extensively around the island groups of the world, in the 1960’s, by Simon and Jenifer Simpson, which is described in Jenifer’s book “The Iota Story”, published in 2010.
This version was launched in 1990 and is filled with character and traditional quality. Inside the boat is spacious, with a good sized galley and navigation station, comfortable saloon and complemented by a Taylor's stove and paraffin cabin heater. The berths are a comfortable, adult size and the separate heads is sufficiently spacious to use in comfort. The forward cabin provides another berth and additional stowage space. The owner has meticulously maintained this boat, which is set-up for singlehanded cruising, although equally comfortable for family and group sailing. The owner has enjoyed sailing this boat in the coastal waters and rivers of the East Coast and is reluctantly selling.
Anybody looking to buy a classic styled, sailing boat, which is comfortable and offers the option of coastal and inland cruising and perhaps an offshore adventure, should seriously consider this boat.
These boat details are subject to contract.
