Broker's Comments
The Westerly Storm was described in a review of second hand yachts a couple years ago as “no nonsense capable off shore yachts”. The original concept was to produce a one design cruiser/racer; but with the added bonus of being a comfortable family performance cruiser. They succeeded in producing an excellent family cruiser with great sea keeping qualities and a good turn of speed.
They also have good accommodation with two good sized cabin forward and aft; the forward cabin has its own hand basin. This boat has an extensive inventory: The Engine was replaced in 2008 and this has only completed 160 hours running time from new. The instrumentation includes a Garmin 3006C Colour Chart Plotter/Radar. Other equipment includes a 6-man Liferaft and a Wind Generator. I doubt there is a better equipped Westerly Storm on the market!
Note: There is also a Hydrovane self-steering unit available by separate negotiation.
